This Physical Therapy Continuing Education course provides a comprehensive overview of
pelvic floor health and rehabilitation, with a focus on evaluation and management of
incontinence. Participants will learn to recognize signs of dysfunction, apply strengthening
and breathing techniques and implement effective interventions to support pelvic health.

This course is for the Iowa LPN with an active Iowa License and a minimum of 1040 hours of work experience. The course prepares you to perform procedures related to intravenous therapy in a licensed hospital, licensed skilled nursing facility, and an end-stage renal dialysis unit for clients age 12 and older, and weighing 80 pounds or more.

Please register at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date. On that day, you'll attend a 4-hour review and Q&A session with the instructor, followed by the 2-hour certification exam. A ServSafe study guide will be mailed to your address on file upon registration. This is an independent study – ServSafe Manager course—students are expected to study the materials on their own in advance. The testing day includes a brief Q&A session and ends with the national certification exam. The course provides essential food safety knowledge for food handlers, covering topics such as foodborne illness, contamination, receiving and storing food, preparation, service, hygiene, sanitation, pest control, and inspections. It is ideal for those in restaurants, long-term care, assisted living, schools, food trucks, and small food businesses.

Refunds: You may cancel your registration 5 business days prior to the start of the class date and receive a 100% refund excluding the $50 non-refundable processing fee. If contacting outside 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Continuing Education Department business hours, leave a voicemail and or send the department an email. 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Continuing Education is not responsible for refunds if contact is not pursued via voicemail and or email. In compliance with the 91ÇÑ×Ó policy, refunds will only be produced in the form of a check. A check will be issued within 14 business days after the refund is admitted to the customer. Refund will be sent to the customer’s address that is on file. Certain program restrictions may apply. Contact Continuing Education for more details at ce@iwcc.edu.
Cancellations: 91ÇÑ×Ó reserves the right to cancel any class where difficulties arise in staffing or scheduling or where a minimum enrollment is not achieved. A full refund will be issued for all canceled classes.
Transfers/Withdrawals: Transfers may be subject to $25.00 transfer fee. Non-attendance for a class does not constitute a withdrawal and refunds are not issued for non-attendance. Transfers may be made up to two full business days (unless otherwise noted in the class information) prior to the start date of the class. After that time, transfers will not be permitted and no refund will be issued.
