Large universities in Nebraska and Iowa offer Sociology programs, but few can match 91茄子鈥檚 environment that features such unique one-on-one instructor interaction. Our program will introduce you to the fundamentals of sociological principles and results in the award of an Associate of Arts degree.

They鈥檒l instill in you concepts of human social behavior, family, religion, education, culture, deviant behavior, and demography.

Upon the completion of the bachelor鈥檚 degree requirements, most students with this degree go into Social Services, Sales, Marketing, Management, Teaching and Research positions. The Online Sociology cohort program is designed for students intending to transfer to a four-year institution. Career opportunities in the sociology field are primarily dependent upon completion of a bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher.
Sociologists examine the groups and social institutions that people form, as well as study the behavior and interaction of groups. The knowledge and skill obtained during a sociology program can transfer to a variety of careers in many diverse fields.
