The Welding Technology diploma program equip students with advanced skills and hands-on experience. Also, students will be able聽 to enter into the industry as production, maintenance, or job shop welders. Students learn fundamental techniques and principles, metallurgy, fabrication, layout, estimating, and repair. Students will learn the different career options and welding certifications to better prepare them for the welding industry.聽
Students who complete this diploma will have earned a Welding certificate by completion.

Program Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of the program students will:
- Interpret welds and welding symbols in all sections of a blueprint.
- Employ welding techniques to create a qualifiable weldment.
- Assess the quality of completed welds using inspection tools.
- Fabricate projects using blueprints and layout methods and tools.
- Weld pipe using the vertical down welding procedure.
